Dr. Sue Morter founded Morter Institute & HealthCenter in 1987. Since that time
she has been focused on providing the most effective treatment available
via modern technology and ancient awareness to serve the thousands of
clients seen in the center with the principles of mind/body wellness.
That focus has taken her around the globe learning,
teaching, and sharing an immense perspective on what the human system is
about, its purpose and role in our life experience, and how to enhance
its performance personally, relationally and in our professional lives.
She can be heard and seen on many radio and internet talk shows and teleseminars, in four recent documentaries, and in live conferences worldwide. She is a member of the Transformational Leadership Council,
a group of global citizens committed to the transformation and
empowerment of modern mankind. She speaks to tens of thousands of
people each year about how to capture what matters most by changing our
perspective and empowering possibility.
Dr. Sue was raised in a natural health care
environment and natural health care is the only kind of health care she
has ever known. She has never taken an antibiotic for an ailment of any
kind and lives the wisdom she speaks of. She considers it a privilege
and a joy to share her experiences.
Dr. Sue received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from
Logan College of Chiropractic in 1986. She is a master
instructor/practitioner of the BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique
(B.E.S.T.), a neuro-emotional process developed by her father, Dr. M.T.
Morter, Jr., that addresses the mind/body relationship and its
integrated influence on health. She is a master teacher in meditation
practices that not only focus on awakening to our true nature, but also on how to anchor that energy in our practical lives through the
use of conscious movement in the body and visualization practices.
Dr Sue teaches a host of seminars locally in
Indianapolis, nationally in many of our major cities, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. For more information about Dr. Sue, click here. To see where Dr. Sue will be next, visit our regularly updated Calendar page, or subscribe to our e-mail list at the bottom of this page.
Dr. Scott Cooper
Dr. Scott Cooper, senior staff doctor, left his private practice of 5 years in Maryville,
Illinois in 1991 to join Dr. Morter and the wellness team at Morter
Institute & HealthCenter. After numerous conversations with Dr. Morter about patient
response and case management using the BioEnergetic Synchronization
Technique (B.E.S.T.), he became interested in deepening his work with
further study of this approach. His decision met with great success.
Dr. Cooper describes his process of mastering B.E.S.T. as a
“transforming one, both professionally and personally.”
Having initially practiced with standard
chiropractic techniques, he had seen many good results, but with
B.E.S.T. he was able to create complete wellness programs and found
longer lasting results. Stabilization and elimination of patient symptom patterns
reached a new level.
“B.E.S.T. allows a balancing of the entire
central nervous system, affecting physical complaints, emotional
distresses, nutritional focus and much, much more.” Dr. Cooper feels
this is the most comprehensive mind-body technique available today.
Dr. Cooper graduated from Logan College of
Chiropractic in 1985 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a bachelors
degree in human biology. He is a recipient of numerous Federation for
the Advancement of Chiropractic awards, and has taught across the
Midwest sharing concepts of health & wellness.
He extends an invitation to anyone and everyone
interested in moving their health to a higher level, no matter what
their starting point, to join us at Morter Institute & HealthCenter. Working to find
a "cause-oriented" solution to all health and wellness concerns is Dr.
Cooper's first priority.
